I have changed my address. How can I tell you?

Take care of it super quickly by logging in to your account, then clicking ‘update delivery address’ and completing the necessary fields. Alternatively, give us a call on 1800 069 918.

How much will postage for my subscription set me back? 

All frankie press subscriptions include postage fees – so there’s no extra cost for you!
Other items have a flat fee of $9.95 per order for Australian and NZ deliveries. International deliveries are calculated based on weight and distance at checkout.

How do I subscribe or renew my subscription to frankie or Smith Journal?

There are a number of ways to subscribe. You could click here to order or renew online, or call 1800 069 918 between 9am and 5.30pm, Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday.

When will I get my first issue?

Have you got your order confirmation email handy? Up the top you’ll spot your first issue number and date of dispatch. If you’ve misplaced the email or didn’t order online, please click here to see when the next issue is on sale. NB: Your first magazine will not be the current issue on sale in stores, and in some instances you may not receive the next one, either - it depends which part of the month the order goes through to meet printing and postal deadlines. It always takes a little longer than you think!

When does my subscription end?

This will depend on the payment option you selected and/or the term of your subscription. If you purchased a pay-as-you-go or auto-renew option, your subscription will continue unless you decide to cancel. Otherwise, you can expect to receive 6 issues of frankie or 4 issues of Smith Journal for each one-year subscription. Work out the number of issues you have left over here (and we’ll send you a little reminder note with your last issue, too!).

How do refunds work for subscriptions and merchandise orders?

If you choose to cancel a magazine subscription, you’ll receive a refund for all unsent issues - unless you bought it through a third party site where the offer was marked ‘non-refundable’. If you’ve selected a recurring credit card payment option, you can cancel at any time, and will continue to receive issues until your payment runs out. We don’t provide refunds for partial billing periods.

For other items, we’ll offer a refund or exchange if:

  • it has a genuine production fault
  • it’s significantly different to the sample or description given on our site
  • it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to
  • it’s been damaged in the post (see here)

Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

If you bought the product from an independent retailer, your returns query must be made with them directly.

I need to cancel my subscription!

We don’t want you to go, but we understand. Sometimes a relationship must come to an end. You can cancel a subscription at any time and receive a refund on any outstanding, unsent magazines by contacting 1800 069 918.

To cancel a pay-as-you-go or auto-renew subscription, first log in to your frankie press account. For auto-renew subscriptions, select ‘view’ on your current sub, then untick the auto-renew payment option. For pay-as-you-go subscriptions, select ‘view’ on your current sub, then ‘cancel’ next to your subscription status. If you’re having trouble, please call us on 1800 069 918.

How do I update my credit card details for my recurring subscription?

You can update your credit card details by logging into your account, selecting ‘view’ on your current subscription, then ‘edit’ next to your recorded credit card. If you’re having trouble, please call us on 1800 069 918.

What if I bought a gift subscription and need to cancel it?

Unless otherwise requested, all refunds will be sent to the person who paid for the subscription.

Which currency do you use in your online store?

All prices are quoted and charged in Australian dollars. You can calculate the amount in a different currency by stopping by www.xe.com.

What if I receive a damaged magazine or item in the post?

Let us know and we’ll replace it! Just send your delivery and order details - plus a photo or scan of the damaged item - to hello@frankiepress.com.au

Can I purchase a back issue of frankie or Smith Journal?

Unfortunately, we only have the issues that are currently available in this online store. We’ve sold out of all other back issues! Word has it people sometimes sell them on eBay and Gumtree, though.

My magazine or merchandise hasn’t arrived. What can I do?

For subscriptions, we aim to deliver copies prior to the official on-sale date, but we can’t guarantee WA residents, residents outside Australian metropolitan areas, or overseas residents will receive their copy that early.

For merchandise orders in Australia, your order will be sent via Australia Post eParcel, which requires a signature on delivery. You’ll need to allow up to 7 business days for it to arrive, starting from the date on your order confirmation email. For our international friends, your order will be dispatched via standard airmail, which doesn’t have tracking or require a signature. Please allow 15 to 20 business days from the date on your order confirmation email.
